Alliance's Steely SamOur very first grullo stud colt by Steely Dan! We think he will go down in history as the most precious and photogenic young foal we've ever had. Perfect markings, a face to melt your heart, and a pedigree that reads like the Who's Who of the RMHA. We look forward to seeing him as a breeding stallion for the Shewmakers in Kentucky.
Alliance's Gone-N-Dun-ItA very rare triple dilution gene foal! Gunnar has the Cream gene, the Dun gene and the Silver Dapple Gene. He is one of two smokey silver dapple grullos in the RMHA. We can't wait to see what a beautiful breeding stallion he will grow up to be for Doublecreek Farm in West Virginia!
"Angus"This big double silver gene colt has a great new home in Minnesota. We look forward to seeing him as a full grown stallion.
"Keith's Smoking Gun""Duke" as he's now known is living a great life in Lakeland, Florida!
Alliance's Claire De LuneAnother triple dilution gene baby! She was born in 2009 and is believed to be the first Smokey Silver Dapple Grulla Rocky Mountain Horse. This sweetie pie was purchased by Pat and Julie of Rocking Gait Stables in Kentucky where she lives the life of a princess!
"Sherman"This beautiful gelding is a trail rider's dream. He's living the good life in California looking out over the ocean.
Crooked Creek's Rio BravoBravo will go down in our history as being one of the quickest learning horses we've ever had the pleasure of raising and training. This smart young gelding is a trail rider's dream come true! Bravo is living the good life in Kentucky.
Crooked Creek's CapucineCapucine was our dream girl from the time she was weaned! She remained beautiful all through her yearling and 2 year old year and showed a fantastic rookie season as a 3 year old in 2008 with the RMHA and the UMH, earning high points and blue ribbons left and right. She was 3rd overall in the RMHA International Grand Championship Trail Pleasure on Saturday night! We think her new owners love her most for her temperament though. She gives lessons to young children and timid novices alike and rides the trails in Florida like veteran.
Congratulations to the Bowers of Florida on their purchase of this one in a million mare!

CCF Misty River
Our very first International Champion: Misty River will forever be in our hearts as "the little mare that could"! She had more heart than most stallions and would give her all time and time again whether on the trail or the rail. Misty loved her Mountain Dew, and was rewarded with it after every show!
She now lives in Colorado with her new owners where we are sure she is putting out beautiful foals.

Tucker T
Tucker definitely wins the "cutest face" award! He's just one of those geldings that can woo you with a bat of an eyelash. This 2006 gelding had an amazing prowess for the trails from the first day he was started. He'll do anything! We're convinced he could have had a fantastic career as a stunt/trick horse.
Tucker now lives with the Bowers in Florida where he is a much loved family trail mount that will safely carry generations of their family through their gorgeous property.
Kentucky Bourbon
Bourbon was our very first Mountain Horse...the one who started it all! Back in 2001, we discovered this fantastic horse as a yearling and our endeavors snowballed from there. He gave us our pride and joy, Holy Smoke, and we will always look to him as the foundation of our program.
Bourbon went to Ohio to be loved by 4-H girl!
Philly's Got Soul
What a lovely lady! Philly had amazing talent early on as a show prospect for us, but it was her awesome trail ability that got the attention of her new owner. She is a true trail rider's dream horse with an intense desire to please. Philly was so kind and so smart and we know she is doing wonderful things out west.
Philly lives with her proud owner, Anne, in Washington.
Crooked Creek's Hondo
Hondo is an old soul. Tried and True from the day we started him. As a 2 and 1/2 year old stallion, he was giving trail rides to novices and so dependable that we always picked him to take care of our greenie riders.
Hondo now lives at Quiet Valley Farm in Maryland where he is a happy stud!
Bonsai Wild
Bonsai remains one of Tara's all time favorite foals. Adorable in all senses of the word! Beautiful grullo coloring and a temperament to melt your heart, Bonsai has the quiet kindness of his big brother, Smokey, and that ultra smooth gait too! This young 2005 gelding may yet be seen in the show ring with Chris or Tara astride. His new home is with Bob and Donna of Sundance Stables in Brooksville, Fl
Avedon
Avedon still gives our hearts a jolt when we see photos of him. He is one of the most beautiful horses on the planet. A fantastic riding horse and a gentleman of a stallion; he was also a clown and a bright spot in our barn. He is a horse that will always have a welcoming stall to return to at our barn.
Avedon now lives a life of luxury in California!
Santoga
Toga is at the top of the mare's list for being the most fun to ride! Gait, gait, and more gait! This beautiful amber champagne mare was as sweet as she was talented.
Toga went to live in Pennsylvania as an ultimate trail horse.
Crooked Creek's Big Mac
This 2008 buckskin colt is one of the most beautiful colts we ever raised. Out of Hondo and Ginger Snap, we couldn't have asked for a fancier foal! Conformation to die for and color to boot.
Mac was purchased by Darcy in South Dakota as a future breeding stallion.
Daydream Believer
We struck gold in more ways than one with this 2008 filly! Out of Maples South Dakota Sundown and Teeny Bikini, she not only ended up with amazing dark gold palomino coloring but was the first foal to be accepted by Teeny and proved that with a little faith, we could have it all!
Daydream now lives in Michigan.
Maples South Dakota Sundown
Dakota is perhaps one of the most striking dark gold palominos we've ever seen. His color remained beautiful all year round. His squirrel bloodlines and fantastic smooth gait and sensible nature made him a quality producer.
He now lives a leisurely life as a kids' gelding on the east coast!
Chocolate Sally
This beautiful red chocolate mare was always called Lovey because of her personality. She's a speed racking queen! We are fortunate enough to still see her frequently, especially as she is such a good momma: she adopted our 2009 little Oliver Twist! A multi-tasking trail riding nurse mare!
Lovey is absolutely adored by her owners Sheri and William in Florida and we think she's pretty great too.
Pallie's Baby
Little "Pearlie" was an ADORABLE 2005 pint sized gaited cremello out of Dakota. She's going to be an excellent producer of small 12 to 13 hand gaited ponies with golden palomino and buckskin color!
Pearlie lives in Ohio, where we are sure she is loved.

Stitch
Stich was named by our daughter after one of her favorite Cartoon Characters. This sweet little 2005 grullo gelding stood 13.2h and had an amazing gait.
Destined to be a wonderful family horse, Stitch went to live with Darcy in South Dakota.

Lobo Feroz
Such a beautiful face! This 2008 Holy Smoke colt out of Dolce was one of the most elegant babies we've ever had. We look forward to hearing great things about him in the future!
He lives with Kay in Kentucky.
Rhinestone Cowboy
This humble 2005 gelding had one of the most level trail riding heads around, as a 3 year old, he felt more like a 9 year old. His ultra smooth walk and gaits made him a cadillac ride that could be enjoyed all day!
Cowboy now lives with happy owners in Minnesota.
